- W2099227144 abstract "ZnS and Mn-doped ZnS nanoparticles with blende structure were synthesized via a hydrothermal synthesis method. Two kinds of nanoparticles are very homogeneous with a narrow size distribution of 3-6 nm characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission election microscopy (TEM). The as grown pure ZnS nanoparticles were observed emitting strong blue fluorescence, while the ZnS: Mn nanoparticles showing strong yellow light under a fluorescence microscope excited with a 330 nm wavelength light. Correspondingly, their strong photoluminescences are located at 420 nm and 580 nm in the spectra, respectively. With strong yellow light emission, Mn-doped ZnS nanoparticles as yellow fluorescence power can be used in LED emitter and panel display. Also, as biological fluorescence probe for free of damage to life and the environment they can replace CdSe, CdS materials." @default.
