We think that it is important to debate the geological and scientific issues, rather than to follow Monty Python in a ‘we are right and you are wrong’ type of argument. In our work we try to follow established scientific practise by taking into account previously published work and not changing established nomenclature without good reasons, preferably described in peer-reviewed publications.
