- W2100270606 abstract "Local and average heat transfer coefficients were measured for a confined turbulent slot jet impinging on a moving surface at which there may be throughflow. Profiles of the local convective coefficient at the impingement surface were obtained using a fast responding, highly sensitive porous heat flux sensor. The decrease in average heat transfer with surface motion is not negligible, ∼20%, at values of the surface motion parameter, Mvs, comparable to those used in industry. The enhancement of heat transfer by throughflow at a moving impingement surface is linearly additive and, when expressed as δSt, is proportional to only the throughflow parameter, Mus, with a proportionality constant of 0.17 which is independent of Re, Mvs or extent of the heat transfer surface. Les coefficients de transfert de chaleur locaux et moyens ont été mesurés pour un jet-fente turbulent confiné impac-tant sur une surface mobile pouvant avoir un écoulement traversant. On a obtenu les profils du coefficient de convection local à la surface d'impact à l'aide d'un capteur de flux de chaleur poreux à temps de réponse rapide et extrêmement sensible. La diminution du transfert de chaleur moyen avec le déplacement de la surface n'est pas négligeable, de l'ordre de ∼20%, à des valeurs du paramètre de déplacement de surface, Mvs, comparables à celles qui sont utilisées dans l'industrie. L'augmentation du transfert de chaleur causée par un écoulement traversant à la surface d'impact en mouvement est linéairement additive; lorsqu'elle est exprimée en fonction de δSt, cette augmentation est proportionnelle au seul paramètre d'écoulement traversant, Mus, avec une constante de proportionnalité de 0,17 qui est indépendante de Re, de Mvs ou de la taille de la surface du transfert de chaleur." @default.
