- W2103005220 abstract "We have experimentally and theoretically studied the phototriggered XeCl laser. A complete set of time resolved experimental diagnostics has been implemented on a small active volume laser, and the measurements compared with a OD-model predictions. This model includes a detailed kinetic of the XeCl molecule, and the effect of the gas temperature growth during the development of the discharge. The Boltzmann equation is solved using a two-term expansion method which has been shown to be accurate with short CPU-time. A coherent set of electron-HCl collision cross sections has been also established and used in the calculation. The applicability limits of such a OD-model have been precisely checked, and the performances of larger active volume lasers have been predicted." @default.
