- W2103182534 abstract "We have investigated the aggregation of surfactants in formamide (FA) instead of water. Qualitatively, the general behavior with FA is similar to the corresponding aqueous systems. Micelle formation has been demonstrated in this solvent as well as the formation of liquid crystalline mesophases at higher surfactant concentration. However, there were some quantitative differences, for example: the much higher Krafft temperature and critical micellar concentration (cmc) values with FA solvent compared to the aqueous systems, and the possibility to utilize amphiphilic molecules insoluble in water. Vesicles and liposomes have been observed, similar to those obtained in water. Also, in microemulsions, water may be replaced by formamide and such non-aqueous microemulsions are reaction media very efficient for organic synthetic processes. L'auto agrégation de tensioactifs a été étudiée dans le formamide (FA) à la place de l'eau, solvant classique de ces substrats. Qualitativement, le comportement général dans le formamide est semblable à celui que l'on observe dans les systèmes aqueux. La formation de micelles a été prouvée ainsi que celle de mésophases cristal-liquide à de plus hautes concentrations. Cependant il y a quelques différences quantitatives: les valeurs de la température de Krafft et des cmc dans le FA supérieures à celles mesurées dans l'eau, et la possibilité d'utiliser des molécules amphiphiles insolubles dans l'eau. Des vésicules et des liposomes ont été également observés, semblables à ceux obtenus dans l'eau. En microémulsions aussi l'eau peut être remplacée par le formamide et ces microémulsions « non aqueuses » sont des milieux réactionnels efficaces pour réaliser des synthèses organiques." @default.
