The results showed that the removal of ammonia and total nitrogen were 90% and 43.91% respectively when O3 dosage was 5.2mg/l and hydraulic retention time was 41 min, Alkalinity and O3 dosage affected nitrogen removal efficiency, combined reaction of microbe, physical chemistry and biochemistry can enhance the nitrogen removal. 0. PREFACE In order to control ultrophication lakes, reservoirs and the gulfs which was a big problem.The biological nitrification and denitrification process was needed. In China, most wastewater plants adopted secondary treatment process which was effective for removal of carbon-rich ,organic matter and suspend solid, but not so effective for ammonia nitrogen (NH + 4-N). At present, a lot of studies on different biological process for nitrogen removal were reported. IBAC process was proved to be highly effective for removal of oil, organic matter and NH3-N.but there was no report on efficiency of IBAC on removal of nitrogen with low ratio of carbon and nitrogen. This study will discuss the performance of IBAC on nitrogen removal in oil refining chemical engineering wastewater." @default.
