- W2105465310 abstract "AbstractIn a vintage paper concerning Parsimonious games, a subset of constant sum homogeneousweighted majority games, Isbell introduced a twin relationship based on transposition propertiesof the incidence matrices upon minimal winning coalitions of such games. A careful investigationof such properties allowed the discovery of some results on twin games presented in this paper. Indetail we show that a) twin games have the same minimal winning quota and b) each Parsimoniousgame admits a unique balanced lottery on minimal winning coalitions, whose probabilities are givenby the individual weights of its twin game.KeywordsHomogeneousweighted majoritygames, incidence matrices, twin relationships, minimal winningquota, balanced lottery.AcknowledgementsWe acknowledge financial support of MedioCredito Friuli Venezia Friuli through the “BonaldoStringher” Laboratory of Finance, Department of Finance, University of Udine. 1 Introduction In this paper we present some results concerning twin relationships in Parsimonious games (henceforthP games). P games are the subset of constant sum homogeneous weighted majority games character-ized by the parsimony property to have, for any given number n (> 3)" @default.
