- W2108189229 abstract "Las personas presentan diferentes formas de afrontar sus problemas o preocupaciones en la vida, estas formas tienen una particular relevancia en la adolescencia (Frydenberg, 2004). Las estrategias se agrupan segun el uso asociado a ellas en estilos de afrontar. En este trabajo se realizo un estudio exploratorio, transversal, comparativo de los estilos al afrontar en una muestra uruguaya segun sexo, edad (organizada en tres grupos) y rendimiento academico (Escalas ACS-E, adaptacion uruguaya Garcia Perez, 2008). Se trabajan cuatro estilos extraidos mediante analisis factorial que explican el 54.93% de la varianza: Estilo No Afrontamiento (14.96% de varianza explicada). Estilo de Evitacion (14.60% varianza explicada). Estilo en relacion a otros (13.40% varianza explicada) y Estilo Productivo (11.95% varianza explicada). Se encuestaron 1228 adolescentes, entre 12 y 19 anos.
