- W2108403059 abstract "Cyclic esotropia, characterized by alternating intervals of esotropia and orthotropia, is associated with decreased vision, trauma, strabismus surgery, or central nervous system disease. We report a 6-year-old boy who developed cyclic esotropia after 3 years of successful control of accommodative esotropia with full hyperopic correction. After bilateral medial rectus recession, he remained esophoric with good binocular function and stereoacuity. To our knowledge, this is the first report of accommodative esotropia decompensating into a cyclic esotropia." @default.
