Das steht in Übereinstimmung mit der Abschätzung der Stabilität aus den Elektronegativitätsdifferenzen der Komponenten, den experimentellen Erfahrungen aus der Kristallzüchtung und der Kristallisation dünner Schichten sowie den Polytypieerscheinungen an AIIBVI-Verbindungen. Die relative Stabilität der Zinkblende- und Wurtzitstruktur kann durch Abweichungen von der Stöchiometrie beeinflußt werden. In order to estimate the relative stability of the cubic and hexagonal phases of sulphides, selenides and tellurides of zinc and cadmium the lattice energies are calculated from the Born-Landé-equation. From the obtained values it can be concluded that the stability of the zineblende structure increases in the order CdS-ZnS-CdSe-ZnTe-(CdTe)-ZnTe. This is in agreement with the estimation of stability using the differences in electronegativity of the components, the experience obtained from crystal-preparation and crystallization of thin films, and the appearance of polytypism in AIIBVI-compounds. It is possible to influence the relative stability of zincblende and wurtzite structures by deviations from stoichiometry." @default.
