The kinetic constants under light conditions were 140–230 times larger than those under dark conditions. Moreover, light irradiation resulted in a decrease in the activation free energy, in which the activation enthalpy was increased but the activation entropy remained unchanged. This suggests that the acceleration in the reduction of Fe(III) as the result of light irradiation is due to a shift in energy level, rather than conformational changes in HA." @default.
