- W2111166741 abstract "Abstract An apparatus is described for delivering Summary vibrational energy to the finger-tip. A technique for determining threshold of vibration in terms of velocity at several discrete frequencies is described. Results are given for the application of this test to 18 normal individuals and 12 patients who had sustained complete median-nerve injuries at the wrist. Imperfect sensation is represented by a measurement of area. It is suggested that this technique may be an interesting method of quantitating skin sensation." @default.
