It was shown that water dissolved in methylene chloride or dioxan influence the copper(II) electronic states. If the amino acid side chains are long enough to form the aliphatic intramolecular van der Waals contacts, the water molecules will induce the change in the conformation of the whole complex. Der Einfluß von Wasser im organischen Lösungsmittel auf den Elektronenzustand von Kupfer(II) Die EPR-Spektren von vier Bis(N,N-dialkyl-L-α-aminoacido)Kupfer(II)-Komplexen werden dargestellt und analysiert, um dem Einfluß von Wasser im organischen Lösungsmittel auf den elektronischen Status von Kupfer(II) zu bestimmen. Es wird gezeigt, daß Wasser in Methylenchlorid oder Dioxan den Elektronenzustand von Kupfer(II) stark beeinflußt. Im Falle genügend langer Aminosäuren-Seiten-Ketten, wobei aliphatische intramolekulare van der Waals Kontakte entstehen, erfolgt eine Veränderung der Konformation des ganzen Komplexes." @default.
