- W2114667308 abstract "659 Objectives The objective of the study was to analyse whether quantitative indices derived from pre-treatment 18F-FDG PET/CT can provide prognostic value for untreated mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) patients. Our work is an ancillary study of the prospective phase III Lyma trial (Le Gouill et al. ASH 2014) (NCT00921414). Methods Pre-treatment FDG-PET of 53 untreated MCL patients were centrally reviewed by 2 lymphoma expert nuclear physicians .Quantitative metrics including SUVmax, SUVmean, SUVpeak, total lesion glycolysis (TLG) and 15 textural features (TF) were extracted from the area with the highest uptake. Whole-body metabolic tumor volume (MTVwb) and whole-body TLG (TLGwb) were also derived considering all detected lesions . The best cut-off values were determined for each metric using X-tile® analysis. Prognostic value was assessed using univariate analysis by Kaplan-Meier estimates of progression-free survival (PFS). Results Clinical characteristics and PFS of the 53 patients were similar to these of the entire Lyma cohort (n=299). Univariate analysis showed a prognostic value on PFS of 4 metrics: SUVmax (p Conclusions The present preliminary results show a strong prognostic value on PFS of SUVmax, SUVmean, SUVpeak and one TF determined on pre-treatment FDG PET in MCL untreated patients.
