- W2116131775 abstract "O presente texto visa divulgar parte dos resultados de minhas pesquisas sobre a historia da geografia escolar brasileira. A discussao que faco sobre este objeto esta ancorada nos aportes teorico-metodologicos produzidos pelos autores do campo tematico denominado de historia das disciplinas escolares. A perspectiva de minha analise e socio-historica. Produzido a partir dos aportes metodologicos da pesquisa qualitativa, este estudo lancou mao dos procedimentos inerentes a pesquisa bibliografica e se redimensionou em funcao do uso dos passos propostos pela pesquisa documental. Aqui sao apresentadas as analises que realizei sobre as reflexoes e proposicoes apresentadas por Ruy Barbosa (no final do seculo XIX) e Delgado de Carvalho (primeiras decadas do seculo XX) acerca da necessidade de renovacao no ensino da geografia praticado nas escolas brasileiras. Estas reflexoes e propostas foram socializadas por estes autores em dois textos que julgo de suma importância para a compreensao das transformacoes epistemico-didaticas que a geografia escolar brasileira passou a vivenciar a partir das ultimas decadas do seculo XIX. Neles identifico a defesa de um ensino de geografia assentado nos principios cientificos que vicejavam naquele momento historico, e que propunham a introducao, nas salas de aula, de uma geografia moderna, que deveria ser ensinada atraves de uma pedagogia moderna. ABSTRACT The object of this paper is the history of the Brazilian geography taught at school. The perspective of the study carried through this paper was the socio-historical based on the theory-methodological support of the thematic field called of history of the disciplines taught at school. The objective of this work is to analyze the reflections and proposals elaborated by Rui Barbosa and Delgado de Carvalho on the education of geography in Brazil in the end of century XIX and beginning of century XX, ideas that had been socialized in two texts, that in my opinion, are basics for the understanding of the posterior epistemic didactics transformations that these disciplines suffered after this period. In these two texts was made the defence of a modern geography, whose teaching should be based on the principles of positivist science. The qualitative inquiry has used the procedures of documentary and bibliographic research. RESUME Le sujet de cet’ article c’est l’histoire de geographie scolaire bresilienne. Je propose une analyse socio-historique de cet objet d’etude. Mes analyses utilisent les apportes theoriques et methodologues de l’histoire de les disciplines scolaires. L’objectif de mon travail est donc d’analyser les refletions et proposions construits pour Ruy Barbosa et Delgado de Carvalho sur la geographie que etait enseigne au Bresil a la fin du XIXeme siecle et au debut du XXeme, socialises en deux textes qui, a mon avis, sont capitale pour la comprehension de les transformations epistemique-didactiques que cette discipline scolaire a vecu d’apres cet periode. Le point de depart sera une etude qualitative developpee a partir d’une methodologie de recherche qui utilise l’analyse bibliographique et le analyse de documentation concernant a ces propositions.
