Recommendations for clinical practice are given at the end of the paper.ZusammenfassungDie vorliegende Studie beschreibt die Reaktionen von Paaren auf den Abbruch einer Schwangerschaft aufgrund einer fötalen Anomalie. Vierzig Frauen und 31 Männer wurden zweimal nach dem Abbruch befragt, das erste Mal nach 6 Wochen und das zweite Mal nach 6 Monaten. Es wurde festgestellt, daß u.a. folgende Faktoren einen Einfluß auf den Entschluß selbst sowie auf die nachfolgende Bewältigung hatten: wurde die Anomalie zufällig oder durch gezielte Suche festgestellt; war die Anomalie mit dem Leben zu vereinbaren oder nicht; wieweit war die Schwangerschaft bereits fortgeschritten; durch welche Methode wurde die Schwangerschaft beendet? Die von diesen Paaren zu bewältigenden Gefühle waren in Mancherlei Hinsicht zu vergleichen mit den Gefühlen nach einer Totgeburt oder dem Tod eines Neugeborenen, doch die Autoren stellten auch andere, davon ganz verschiedene Gefühle fest, wie z.B. Schuld, Zweifel, Versagen sowie Gefühle des moralischen und sozialen Drucks. Zum Schluß werden Empfehlungen für die klinische Praxis gegeben.RésuméCette étude décrit les réactions de couples à une interruption de grossesse du fait d'une anomalie du foetus. Quarante femmes et 31 hommes ont été interviewés deux fois, 6 semaines et 6 mois respectivement après l'interruption. II a été constaté que les facteurs influant sur les prises de décision et l'adaptation comportent: découverte de l'anomalie fortuitement ou par examen; compatibilité ou incompatibilité de l'anomalie avec la viabilité; degré d'avancement de la grossesse et méthode d'interruption de celle-ci. Les sentiments auxquels ces couples ont d faire face étaient, à certains égards, comparables à ceux qui sont ressentis après la naissance d'un mort-né ou le décès d'un nouveau-né, mais les auteurs ont également constaté d'autres sentiments totalement différents, parmi lesquels: culpabilité, doute, échec et sentiments de pression d'ordre moral et social.
