Before starting eLearnia, Brenda was an associate professor of Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Iowa. She also held research and teaching positions at USC, UCLA, and UNC. Throughout her academic career, Brenda worked as an independent performance consultant, completing projects for a variety of organizations. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters on assessment, evaluation, distance learning, computer-based instruction, and web-based instruction. Brenda co-edited the book Performance Interventions: Selecting, Implementing, and Evaluating the Results, published in 1999 by ASTD.
