• W2117576483 abstract "El objetivo del estudio es conocer el perfil cognitivo de los pacientes con trastorno de ansiedad generalizada, en relacion a los principales constructos teoricos de la terapia cognitivoconductual que se han postulado como intervinientes en el desarrollo y/o mantenimiento del cuadro. Los postulados teoricos sugieren que el perfil cognitivo de los pacientes con trastorno de ansiedad generalizada se caracteriza por creencias positivas y negativas respecto de la preocupacion, intentos de controlar el pensamiento, sobrestimacion de peligro e intolerancia a la incertidumbre. Se estudiaran dichas variables en tres grupos: 1) pacientes con diagnostico de trastorno de ansiedad generalizada, 2) pacientes con otros trastornos de ansiedad y 3) un grupo control. A partir del estudio de los pacientes con trastorno de ansiedad generalizada se pretende hallar asociaciones entre determinados tipos de cogniciones y el grado de expresion de la sintomatologia de los pacientes. Para ello, se realizara una evaluacion sistematica y objetiva tanto de pacientes con el cuadro como de pacientes con otros trastornos de ansiedad y sujetos controles con la finalidad de establecer comparaciones.
