- W2122637507 abstract "Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a useful technique to study processes that occur at an electrode interface. The diffusion at a micro-disk have been simulated for numerous electrochemical techniques, but only few papers deal with impedance measurements at a (ultra-)microelectrodes (UME). Due to their small dimension, in the range of micrometer or less, mass transport is controlled totally by hemispherical diffusion between the solution bulk and the electrode surface.
