The electroluminescence of Alq3 increased with increasing magnetic field strength. Operating at 6 V, the intensity at 800 mT became 1.045 ± 0.007 times larger than that at 0 mT. The observed magnetic field effect indicates that the formation rate of singlet excited state from radical ion pairs is 83% of the triplet state. Its RYDMR spectrum is observed as a decrease of emission supporting the slower recombination in the singlet." @default.
