- W2126315335 abstract "It is the purpose of this study to design an artificial maintenance system of organ activity and investigate the influence of inactivity factors on kidney off-body. We have developed a microprocessor-based device to keep renal off-body and study its self-adapted regulation mechanism of life process in order to understand various biological functions and make both artificial utilization and clinical application of these functions. The device has an ideal temperature environment, ideal preservation solution and multiple parameter measurement. The system works on pulse perfusion in which the waveform simulates femoral arterial beat rhythmically and preservation based on real-time fast control with highly accurate temperature which could reduce and increase the temperature with high speed (1/spl deg/C/min) and constantly controls the temperature with high accuracy which is (at normal setting point /spl plusmn/0.5/spl deg/C) as well as real-time display parameters. We have worked on pigs and dogs kidneys and performed experimental transplantation. The requested temperature environment for different research conditions can be guaranteed with the system." @default.
