- W2129336768 abstract "Abstract Temperature dependence of proton spin lattice relaxation time (T1) in ammonium hexabromo selenate shows six phase transitions. The observed data have been analysed using the BPP model. The T 1 maximum observed around 361 K has been attributed to spin-rotation interaction. NH+ 4 ion motion is found to be responsible for the relaxation throughout the temperature range studied. The activation energies for the NH+ 4 ion reorientation in different phases have been evaluated. The second moment (M 2) variation with temperature also shows the presence of these transitions. Motional narrowing is present even at 77 K, as indicated by a second moment value of 18 G2 which is much smaller than the rigid lattice value of about 49 G2." @default.
