Sources of charged particles with plasma emitter represent a complicated problem because it is necessary to take into account that position and form of the emitting plasma surfaces self-coordinated with distribution of the potential (i.e. the plasma surfaces must be set in point where zero strength of the electric field is established). In this paper the algorithm of mathematical modeling of plasma sources of charged particles is suggested. The algorithm is based on modified current tubes method and includes the following items: the setting of the geometry of the optic system, the electrode potentials, the potential and concentration of plasma, plasma electron temperature; the simulation of a field generated by system of electrodes; the setting of the plasma in the emission channel by iterations method taken into account the connection of radius of plasma, its concentration and potential; the calculation of a field of electrodes and plasma by solving of Laplace's equation; the finding of trajectories of beam charged particles by means of numeric integration of the differential equation of a trajectory; the calculation of a space charge of beam particles and density of emission current; the finding of distribution of the potential in view of the space charge of beam particles; the change of a position and form of the emitting plasma surfaces; the change of a characteristics of formed beam (trajectories of charged particles); repeating the calculation of potential distribution and a beam characteristics up to that when potential distribution is self-coordinated with space charge of beam particles. By modified current tubes method electron-optical system with a plasma emitter was simulated." @default.
