In the particular situation studied, the selection responses were very similar, but in all cases the average inbreeding attained with the MW system was less than with any other system, the decrease with respect to the RM system being as much as 30%. The MC and the WS methods also led to less inbreeding than the RM system. It is suggested that the use of some of these methods could be valuable in small-scale animal-breeding programmes. On a examiné trois méthodes qui peuvent contribuer à minimiser le taux de consanguinité dans les programmes de sélection: le minimum de parenté (MC), la sélection pondérée (WS) proposée par Toro et Nieto (1984) et une combinaison de ces deux méthodes (MW), et on les a comparées à une sélection sur accouplements au hasard (RM). Dans la situation étudiée, les réponses à la sélection sont très similaires mais dans tous les cas la consanguinité moyenne atteinte avec le système MW est plus faible qu'avec les deux autres, la diminution étant de 30% par rapport au système RM. Les méthodes MC et WS conduisent elles aussi à une moindre consanguinitté que la méthode RM. L'utilisation de ces méthodes pourrait donc être utile dans les programmes d'amélioration génétique à petite échelle. In der speziell untersuchten Situation waren die Selektionserfolge sehr ähnlich, aber in allen Fällen war die durchschnittliche Inzucht mit der MW-Methode geringer als mit jeder anderen Methode, die Verringerung im Vergleich zum RM-System betrug sogar 30%.
