Die neben der CHCl3-bildenden „A-Reaktion”︁ (Gl. 1) beobachtete polymeranaloge „B-Reaktion”︁ (Gleichungen (7)-(13) setzt der Anwendung des Phosphanharzes zwangsläufig enge Grenzen. Das hierbei entstehende (Chlormethyl)phosphonium-Salz 3b führt zur partiellen Blockierung des Polymeren, so daß die vollständige Regenerierbarkeit und damit wiederholte Verwendung des Reagenzes wegen der sich anschließenden Nebenreaktionen (Gl. (14)) unmöglich wird. On the Repetitive Use of the Condensation Resin Triphenylphosphane-containing Polystyrene/Tetrachloromethane The advantages and disadvantages of the repetitive use of triphenylphosphane-containing condensation resin polystyrene (1b)/CCl4 are shown. In the case of the peptide synthesis, we developed, absolute analogy with corresponding monomeric reagent combination 1a/CCl4 could be established for the first time by 31P{1H} NMR investigation of the resin. Besides the CHCl3-forming “A-reaction” (eq.1) the polymer-analogous “B-reaction” (eq. 7-13) is observed, that inevitably restricts the application of the phosphane resin. Thus the formation of the (chloromethyl) phosphonium salt 3b causes partial consumption of the polymer. Thus complete regeneration of the polymer, that means repetitive application of the reagent, is impossible due to the subsequent side reactions (eq. 14)." @default.
