The title compounds 1 and 2 have the same chemical composition but exhibit different structures and are therefore polymorphs. Thus, in compound 1, isolated ZnO4-tetrahedra, and in 2, infinite double-chains of corner-sharing ZnO6 polyhedra are observed. In, KZn[H(O2C)2C6H3PO3] (3) K+-ions have been incorporated into the structure leading to the formation of a bimetallic inorganic-organic hybrid compound." @default.
