Halbfertigprodukte, die erst durch Spezifikationen des Kunden fertiggestellt werden können; Wissen und Erfahrung der Mitarbeiter) kombiniert. In dieser Sichtweise sind Anbieter und Kunde keine Antagonisten, die isoliert handeln, sondern kooperierende Austauschparteien (vgl. Takeishi 2001, S. 404), die gemeinsam einen hohen beiderseitigen Nutzen erreichen wollen. Da sowohl der Anbieter als auch der Kunde Objekte in den Prozess einbringen, wird dieses Phänomen in diesem Beitrag nicht einseitig mit Kundenintegration (vgl. Engelhardt/Kleinaltenkamp/ Reckenfelderbäumer 1993) oder Lieferantenintegration (vgl. Fließ/Becker 2006) bezeichnet, sondern mit integrativer Wertschöpfung (vgl. hierzu Engelhardt/Freiling 1995, S. 40, sowie Kleinaltenkamp/Haase 1999, S. 170, die von integrativer Leistungserstellung sprechen).
