Die in dieser Übersicht behandelten Beispiele zeigen, was heute in der Nanogramm‐Chemie erreicht werden kann. Sie sollen als Anregung dienen und dazu führen, neue Anwendungsmöglichkeiten zu entwickeln. Die Beispiele stammen zwar zum großen Teil aus der Insektenchemie, doch sei ihre allgemeine Anwendbarkeit hier betont. Die vorliegende Übersicht veranschaulicht, daß Gaschromatographie und Reaktionsgaschromatographie, jede für sich oder in Kombination mit der Massenspektrometrie, in den Händen des Chemikers wertvolle Werkzeuge für die Strukturaufklärung flüchtiger organischer Verbindungen sind, von denen nur Nanogramm‐Mengen zur Verfügung stehen." @default.
