Using methods previously described (1), the Bureau of Occupational Health, New York State Health Department, developed a registry of all histologically confirmed cases of angiosarcoma of the liver diagnosed in residents of New York State from 1970 through 1975. Detailed medical, social, occupational, familial, and therapeutic histories on each patient were obtained from their closest living relatives and physicians.
