- W2149747602 abstract "Abstract Theoretical isochore equation of state and electrical conductivity of hot expanded plasmas of aluminum ( ρ = 0.3 g/cm 3 ) and copper ( ρ = 0.5 g/cm 3 ) are presented for temperatures 5 000 < T < 30 000 K. Our calculations are carried out in the framework of density functional theory and the local density approximation. Ionic configurations and equation of state are determined by quantum molecular dynamics simulations, from which the conductivity was computed using the Kubo‐Greenwood formula [1, 2]. Theoretical calculations are compared with experimental results obtained in an isochoric plasma closed‐vessel designed to confine electrical plasma discharges up to 1.5 GPa [3].
