• W2151044487 abstract "This paper was to develop charge-confining phosphorescent white organic light emitting diodes (WOLEDs) based on mixed host (TCTA and CzSi) and hole-blocking (TPBi and BPhen) layers. The blue phosphorescent sensitizer was Bis(3,5- difluoro- 2-(2-pyridyl)phenyl-(2-carboxypyridyl) iridium (Firpic), and the orange phosphorescent sensitizer was the thieno-pyridine framework organo-iridium complexes (PO-01). The sandwiched structures of the blue/orange/blue with different TPBi dopant ratio in BPhen were compared. The WOLEDs of the EL-I series were all mixed-host for emitting layer, but the emitting layer of the EL-II series were without mixed-host at the second blue one. The efficiency of WOLEDs of the EL-I device at 4.3% TPBi dopant ratio in the BPhen was 34.1lm/W at 1000 cd/m2. However, the efficiency of WOLEDs of the EL-II series did't raise the device's characteristics when the TPBi is doped in BPhen, and WOLEDs of the EL-II series responded insensitively to drive current.
