- W2152652355 abstract "Ozet: Bu arastirma, Norduz kecilerinde polimorfik sistemlerden hemoglobin ve transferrin tiplerinin laktasyon sut verimi ve suresi uzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaciyla yapilmistir. Arastirma materyalini 54 bas Norduz kecisi olusturmustur. Anahtar kelimeler: Hemoglobin, Norduz kecisi, polimorfizm, sut verimi, transferrin Relationships Between the Polymorphism of Blood Proteins and Some Milk Yield Traits in Norduz Goats Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the influences of polymorph systems such as haemoglobin and transferrin types on the lactation milk productions and the lactation periods in Norduz goats. The material of this study consisted of 54 Norduz goats. The polymorphism of haemoglobin and transferrin phenotypes of Norduz goats were determined. Blood proteins were analyzed through horizontal starch gel electrophoresis. It was found that the haemoglobin and transferrin types were controlled by two allel genes (HbA and HbB; TfA and TfB) in the goats. The phenotypes of HbAA, HbBB and HbAB; TfAA, TfBB and TfAB were observed in the population. Haemoglobin and transferrin gene frequencies were 0.7222 for HbA and 0.2778 for HbB; 0.7870 for TfA and 0.2130 for TfB. Haemoglobin and transferrin phenotype frequencies were 48 % for HbAA, 4 % for HbBB and 48 % for HbAB; 63 % for TfAA, 6 % for TfBB and 31 % for TfAB. The influences of haemoglobin and transferrin types on lactation milk productions and lactation periods were not significant. The highest lactation milk yields were obtained from HbBB and TfAA types with the averages of 204.8±19.5 l and 176.6±6.8 l, whereas the lowest yields were obtained from HbAB and TfBB types with the averages of 164.0±5.8 l and 159.9±24.7 l, respectively. The highest average values for lactation durations were found in HbBB (201.3±8.5 days) and TfAA (196.4±2.9 days) types; however the lowest lactation durations were observed in HbAB (193.6±3.6 days) and TfAB (190.7±4.8 days) types. In conclusion, there were polymorphism in haemoglobin and transferrin types in Norduz goats." @default.
