- W2153468258 abstract "Abstract We studied the effect of the H 2 S and the H 2 partial pressures on the competitive HDN of aniline and indole over a NiMoP‐γAl 2 O 3 catalyst. The reactions were carried out with a continuous‐flow reactor at 5 MPa and 573 K. Our results confirm that H 2 S has a promoting effect on the C‐N bond cleavage and a detrimental effect on hydrogenation but, in contrast to what is reported in the literature, we found that the global effect of H 2 S on nitrogen removal is negative. We explained this difference by the fact that, in our experiments, HDN is controlled by the hydrogenation function of the catalysts. H 2 has an effect opposite to H 2 S and the parameter that can be considered is the ratio H 2 S/H 2 ." @default.
