- W2153660326 abstract "We have derived mathematically the truth that as long as the horizontal matter flow velocity in the x-axis direction gains strength in magnitude proportional to (or as a function of) the increase along the width of the matter flow in the y-axis direction, and maintains constant along the thickness of the matter flow in the z-axis direction, the matter flow will gain a transverse force pointing to the y-axis direction perpendicular to the matter flow. We have used the data of NASA’s Solar Planetary Fact Sheets and the equations derived by us to verify why the calculated eccentricities of the orbits of Planets Venus and Saturn in our Solar System are different from those listed in NASA’s Planetary Fact Sheets. Furthermore, we have applied this truth to any matter flow moving along circular paths of constant angular velocity and calculated the transverse force experienced by the mass center of this circulating material to be exactly equal to the centrifugal force shown in the conventional general physics textbooks. This transverse force will lead to potential alternative ways of providing propulsion for uses in land, sea, air, and space. Nomenclature r = distance between the Planet and the Sun θ = the angle between r and the Major Axis of the elliptical orbit of the Planet e = the eccentricity of the orbit GMc = the product of the Gravitational Constant G and the mass Mc of the central object, the Sun Cx = force coefficient in the x direction Cy = force coefficient in the y direction h = the specific relative angular momentum of the orbiting Planet and is equal to rv v = the linear orbiting velocity of the Planet, h is a constant while r and v are varying with time" @default.
