- W2154134528 abstract "textabstractLow level flying is a very good tactical possibility to carry out amission unseen by a hostile radarsystem. Nowadays, WesternEurope in general and the Federal Republic of Germany inparticular, decreased . the permissions to low level flying inassigned regions. That's why the Royal Netherlands Air Force isflying a part of the low level flying training in Goose Bay,Labrador, Canada. Twelve to thrirteen missions per pilot areflown within 12 days in a uninhabited region, threefold the sizeof the Netherlands, according a schedule in which the flyingaltitude decreases, the airspeed increases and the airtaskintensifies.Caused by the high G-loads on the airframe, a lot of structuraldammage of the aircraft is found, eg. dammage of the ventralvins and the tail; but also the flyer appeared to show more anddifferent complaints than during and after flying in theNether lands.Less facts in literature can be found about jet pilots andaproximately none about the specific F-16 pilot, relating to theinfluences of airspeed, flying altitude, vibrations and posture. In this study literature is collected, analysed and amplified withnew specific data. Furthermore, vibrations at low level areanalysed and accelerating forces are related to a biomechanicmodel" @default.
