This paper presents the modelling,simulation and control of a newly-built underwatervehicle for academic and research purposes. A seriesof small underwater vehicles have been designed andbuilt at the Australian Maritime College (Universityof Tasmania) within the maritime engineering coursefinal year programmes. This includes the developmentof mathematical models of these small underwatervehicles for simulation and control design purposes.This paper focuses on theoretical modelling,simulation, control design and testings of the AMCnewly-built ROV/AUV." @default.
