Even with a clear understanding, the process of identifying the source for the patient’s concern can be dynamic, time-consuming, and at times less than a perfect science. A thorough evaluation often requires not only multiple tests, but often involves multiple disciplines. The advantages and disadvantages of different models of team-based approaches need to be understood and the appropriate approach needs to be applied appropriately. References Baldwin, D. (1994).
