Depending upon various driving conditions, two address discharge modes were observed: single-tail mode and double-tail mode (DTM). The DTM should be avoided because it may result in the discharge failure of the addressed cells. Based on the 3-D images of the IR emissions in the address period, the wall charge distributions on the Y and A electrodes after two address discharge modes were estimated.
