- W2160490173 abstract "ABSTRACT An accepted nodal analysis of the ideal varactor parametric converter in its IT configuration is used as the basis for a comprehensive study of its circuit properties. The object is to elucidate the nature and action of the converter in terms of conventional network-theoretic concepts and to clarify the difference between the non-inverting and inverting modes of operation. By Hormitian/anti-Hermitian partition of the admittance matrix and by chain factorization of the transfer (A, B, C, D) matrix, the equivalent network is separated into active/passive, reciprocal/non-reciprocal and time-variant/invariant parts. For representation of the time-variant property a now element called an ideal frequency converter is defined. One type of circuit derived is a generalization to the active time-variant ease of a passive non-reciprocal network proposed for use in microwave circuits by Haus." @default.
