In both cases the ratio is virtually independent of temperature and lies above the theoretical value of 2.443 × 10−8 V2 K−2. Estimates of the total thermal conductivities have been made using the resistivity data of independent observers. This parameter has also been separated into its electronic and lattice components by the Wiedemann-Franz-Lorenz and Bäcklund techniques. In both cases lattice thermal resistivity shows an increase with temperature in each material. Das Lorenz-Verhältnis wurde für Molybdän (900 °C bis zum Schmelzpunkt) und Wolfram (900 bis 2550 °C) gemessen, wobei der Reinheitsgrad dieser Metalle 99,9% beziehungsweise 99,95% war. In beiden Fällen ist das Verhältnis praktisch temperaturunabhängig und leight über den theoretischen Wert von 2,443 × 10−8 V2 K−2. Unter Heranziehung der Widerstandsbefunde von unabhängigen Beobachtern wurden die gesamten Wärmeleitzahlen abgeschätzt. Dieser Parameter wurde auch mittels des Wiedemann-Franz-Lorenz-Verfahrens und des Bäcklund-Vrfahrens in seine elektronischen und seine Gitter-Bestandteile getrennt.
