- W2170090209 abstract "The molar excess enthalpies, H m E , at 313.15 K and molar excess volumes, V m E , at 303.15, 308.15, and 313.15 K for the binary mixtures of stannic bromide with benzene, cyclohexane, and tetrachloromethane have been determined. Both H m E and V m E for the three sets of binary mixtures are positive over the entire range of composition. The experimental results have been compared with those predicted by regular solution theory. It is observed that H m E calculated for regular solutions are highly sensitive to the estimation of C 12 . The calculated V m E are in good agreement with the experimental data if it is assumed that (∂E/∂P) T = 0; and the ratio of the internal pressures to the cohesive energy density are the same for unmixed and the mixed components." @default.
