EDS was used to analyze the surface component of carbon anode. The discharge capacity fading is increasing with the time, but the cyclic performance is improved after storing. The LiMn <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> O <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</inf> retained its structure. But the intensity of all LiMn <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> O <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</inf> diffraction peaks is weakened. The carbon also retained its structure. But the Mn is detected from the carbon electrode when the battery is stored for 96h. Cyclic voltammogrm curves results show that the resistance and polarization of LiMn <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> O <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</inf> /electrolyte is increased after storage." @default.
