Special Features: AccessScience provides a navigational column along the left side of all pages beyond the main home page. This column allows the user to quickly return to the main page, perform a simple site or definition search, access a list of related sites or the Student Center, browse and explore by topic, and so forth. This navigation column does not interfere with the printing of articles, as AccessScience provides a link to a printer-friendly version of each article. The Student Center is a useful feature that provides access to study guides, bibliographies, and additional readings and essay topics for each of the subject areas. From the Student Center, online forums are available by topic for students to share information with others who have the same interests. A future component of the Student Center is the AccessScience Q&A section, where students will be able to submit questions to AccessScience and browse an archive of past questions and answers. The Science and Technology in the News section displays selected articles from the week's science news, with links to related topics, articles, definitions, and biographies within AccessScience. A news archive is available and can be browsed chronologically or topically. The AccessScience wizard is available throughout AccessScience and provides clearly written, context-sensitive help. * Locating Information. Using AccessScience to find information is easy. There are three options for locating information: search, browse by topic, or browse by section. * Searching.
