- W218016713 abstract "The main aim was to evaluate the ash water effect over the ruminal pH, the acid-basic state. On amount of 45 cows of Holstein x Cebu crossbred with ages between 5 and 10 years (x=7±1.5) with a mile production ranging between 8 and 15 milk litters and between 30 and 45 days of lactation were investigated. The animals treated ware applied the substance mentioned above in a quantity of 80 g/cow/day (group II), 100g/cow/day (group III) for 45 days in drinking water and a control group (group I) which was supplied with the water a lone without any treatment. At the 15, 30 and 45 days fo having started the treatment the following investigations were carried out: pH content in the ruminant, gasometry, sodium and potassium in the blood serum, besides. The results show that ruminal pH increased significally (p<0,05). The pH, BE, and BB in blood showed an increase in their values which approaches in more to the normal values of the species sodium, potassium and milk fat chromed a significative increase. It is concluded that ash water has alcalinizant effect on the ruminal and blood pH in the treated animals." @default.
