The antitumoral, but also immune-modulating and anti-inflammatory properties offer interesting treatment opportunities for dermatologic, odonto-stomatologic or allergic patients.In dieser retrospektiven Studie wurden Verträglichkeit, unerwünschte Wirkungen und Indikationen von subkutanen Injektionen eines Mistelpräparates (Viscum album L.) bei Katzen in einer Kleintierpraxis geprüft. Von den 22 Tieren, die zwischen 2008 und 2013 behandelt wurden, haben 4 die vom Besitzer gemachten Injektionen nicht akzeptiert, und 7 haben leichte, kurzfristige, spontanheilende unerwünschte Wirkungen gezeigt. Keine langfristige (mehr als 70 Tage) unerwünschte Wirkung konnte im direkten Zusammenhang mit der Mistelbehandlung festgestellt werden. Diese Studie zeigt, dass Iscador® bei der Katze ohne Risiko einer Verschlechterung der klinischen Symptome oder Förderung des Tumorwachstums subkutan verabreicht werden kann. Die antitumorale, immunmodulierende und antientzündliche Eigenschaften geben interessante Behandlungsaussichten für Patienten mit dermatologischen, odonto-stomatologischen oder allergischen Problemen.Dans cette étude rétrospective, la tolérance aux injections sous-cutanées de gui (Viscum album L.), les effets indésirables et les indications ont été évalués chez les patients félins d'un cabinet pour animaux de compagnie. Parmi les 22 animaux traités entre 2008 et 2013, 4 n'ont pas accepté les injections faites par le propriétaire, 7 ont présenté de légers effets secondaires à court terme, disparus spontanément. Aucun effet indésirable à long terme (plus de 70 jours) directement lié à l'administration de Viscum album n'a pu être identifié. Cette étude montre que l'Iscador® peut être administré par injection sous-cutanée chez le chat sans risque d'aggravation des signes cliniques ou d'exacerbation des tumeurs. Ses propriétés antitumorales, immuno-modulantes et anti-inflammatoires, offrent d'intéressantes possibilités de traitement de patients dermatologiques, odonto-stomatologiques ou allergiques.In questo studio retrospettivo sono stati studiati la compatibilità, gli effetti indesiderati e le indicazioni delle iniezioni sottocutanee di una preparazione di vischio (Viscum album L.) nei gatti in un piccolo studio veterinario. Dei 22 animali che sono stati trattati tra il 2008 e il 2013, 4 non hanno accettato le iniezioni fatte dal proprietario, e 7 hanno mostrato effetti indesiderati di natura lieve, a breve termine e con guarigione spontanea. Nessun effetto indesiderato a lungo termine (oltre 70 giorni) è stato riscontrato in diretto collegamento con il trattamento con il vischio. Questo studio dimostra che Iscador® può essere somministrato per via sottocutanea nel gatto senza rischio di peggioramento dei sintomi clinici o incremento della crescita del tumore. Le proprietà anti-tumorali, immunomodulanti e antinfiammatorie offrono interessanti prospettive di trattamento per i pazienti con problemi dermatologici, odontostomatologici o allergici." @default.
