Skills developed are applicable to the industry. We are requesting an intern for at least 10 hours per week. The internship is not paid, however we would love to work with you to earn credit and industry experience. The internship will offer an opportunity to gain practical experience in media writing, planning high-end events, and promotions. The intern will be working primarily to generate new press and marketing ideas related to Dish D’Lish and the release of Kathy Casey’s Northwest Table . Responsibilities include but are not limited to organizing events, archiving press, media writing, and updating media lists. QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must possess strong communications skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Students must have knowledge and some experience in writing press releases and be able to research within an environment where confidentiality is required . Understanding of basic collection management; excellent organizational skills; ability to work independently; computer skills in standard office applications; ability to write and communicate clearly are essential. Preference will be given to students who are in the Marketing field.
