- W2186021956 abstract "This study aims to identify the relationship between the organizational citizenship and transformational change of the governmental departments in Al- Karak city. The researcher developed a 36-item questionnaire to measure its two major variables and dimensions. Three questions and five hypotheses were formulated. A simple, randomly selected sample of (342) employees comprising (37.2%) was used.The findings of the study revealed the followings:1.The respondents’ perspective of the organizational citizenship was high (mean = 3.51).2.The respondents’ perspective of the transformational change was middle (mean = 3.33).3.There was a strong positive correlation (Pearson) between the organizational citizenship and the transformational change in all dimensions and each one separately.4.There was a statistical significant relation between the dimensions of organizational citizenship and dimensions of transformational change through the interpretation power indications.The independent factors of the organizational citizenship were tested by the regression formula and were allowed to enter in different arrangements in the regression formula for predicting other dependent dimensions of the transformational change.The study ended with some future recommendations:1.The public departments should enhance and promote the organizational citizenship because it improves the activities and capabilities when initiating future transformational changes.2.The public departments should adopt partnership, management by objectives and progressive evaluation to prepare the employees morally for organizational success." @default.
