Preschool education is, in this sense, the first step of formal education and the first requirement of lifelong education. Therefore, it is a very effective tool to increase the success of children at school. However, in order for this tool to accomplish its task completely, firstly, its needs should be perceived positively and provided immediately. The aim of this study is to analyse the perception of prospective teachers who are also the parents and educators of the future about the necessity of preschool education. The findings will be used as a guide in increasing the perception of prospective teachers at pre-service period and in determining the needs to this effect in the face of an early schooling concept that could be a part of an alternative model or that could be integrated with the current education faculty programs." @default.
