- W2189412918 abstract "Objectives: This study aims to determine the level of stress in caregivers of chil- dren with special needs. Method: In this research participated 44 mothers and/ or caregivers of children with special needs, being 42 women. To collect data we used the questionnaire Inventory Stress Symptoms for Adults Lipp (ISSL). The differences between the groups for the number of stress were analyzed using t-Student and significant level was p <0.05. Results: Stress develops in stages, it is a process and not a single reaction, and this shows that to be caregiver does not bring negative effects to the person's life. Conclusions: It was concluded that there was a significant tendency for the presence of stress in their stage of resis- tance prevailing physical symptoms." @default.
