- W2200388949 abstract "In the present paper under the local-structural damage of the composite materials, the local curving of the reinforcing layers or fibers in the structure of these composites is understood. As is well known, these local curving in the structure of the composite materials may be the consequence of technological process under the action of various factors described by Tarnopolsky & Rose*. In a point of view of fracture mechanics of the structural elements fabricated from the multilayered composite materials the obtaining of the sufficient quantitative information on the influence of the above-mentioned local curving to the stress distributions is of considerable importance. We should note that it is very difficult or just impossible to investigate these problems for the structural elements fabricated from such materials in terms of a piecewise homogeneous body model. Nevertheless, these problems can be solved in the framework of the continuum theory of Akbarov G0< x% <h; 0< x^ < 1,}. Suppose that the layers of this multilayered material are located in planes which are parallel to the 0x1X3 plane and the structural parameters of the plate material satisfy the limitations of the theory by Akbarov & Guz' . Furthermore, we assume that the reinforcing layers have the curving only in the direction of the oxi axis (i.e., the curving of those in the direction of the 0x3 axis is absent), and the form of this curving in the system of coordinates 0x1X3X3 can be given by the following function xcos[m7cX(Xi/l, -1J], if Xj/lj e[c,d]; 0, if x,/l,e[0,c]u[d,l]. In (1) the following notations are introduced: c=Ci/Ii, d=di/li, A,=di-ci, X=l/(d-c), e-HVAj, lo=L/li where H'is a maximum length of an arrow of the local curving rise, Lisa distance between the orijin of the system of coordinates ox^x^x^ and the point at which the arrow of the local curving rise becomes the maximum. Parameters n and m characterize the local curving form. Throughout the investigations, repeated indices are summed over their ranges however underlined repeated indices are not summed. It is assumed that in the case 6 = 0 the considered plate material is homogeneous and orthotropic with normalized mechanical properties M-ijap and with principal axes of elastic symmetry oxi, 0x2, 0x3 Therefore we can write the following expressions for |i ? «" @default.
